Many thanks for your wonderful support this past year.  I am still overwhelmed by the many kind words and experiences that you have shared with me regarding Scattered Hearts. Why this music has come through me is still a mystery to me, the one piece of clarity regarding this is that  I continue to pick up the guitar night after night.

My musical pursuits continue and have been fruitful. Recently Tony Geballe and I began a new recording project - When the Ocean Courts the Drop. I would like to give you a link to one of these pieces Kinnara. Based on a Cambodian folk tale, Kinnara took shape as I was visiting family in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This has been an interesting and informative process for me.

Times are tough for independent musicians these days.  The sentiment that recorded works, books, and many other creative endeavors should be free is pervasive. Undertaking these creative endeavors has & will always been a labor of love, yet still  support for musicians is needed. I still buy music of people who create work that I admire. CD Baby is a great source for independent musicians. I placed my holiday order with them this past week.

Tony Geballe - Native of the Rain Progressive acoustic solo 12-string guitar from the guitarist of the Trey Gunn Band. Truly on of the most beautiful guitar works I have ever listened to. 

Greg Merkle - Big Guitar Intricate yet simple and unpredictable music for the solo guitar. I reviewed this earlier this year on if you want to read more about his music.
